Recording scary entities and the dark unseen horrors of the old world in Content Warning can get you views and decent ad revenue - but you'll need emotes if you want to maximise profits and become rich quickly in the game

If you're not sure where to start, this guide will show you how to emote in Content Warning. I've also listed every emote available in the shop, their prices, and how to purchase and learn them.

In Content Warning, you can emote by pressing the 'T' key on your keyboard once you have purchased and learned an emote.

Remember, 'T' is the default binding for performing emotes in the game, and you can change it using the below steps:

  • In the main menu, select 'Options'
  • If you have already started a game:
    • Press the 'ESC' button to open the pause menu
    • Select 'Settings'
  • Navigate to the 'Controls' options
  • Scroll down until you find the 'Emotes' option
  • Assign the key you want to use for emotes

How to purchase & learn emotes

To purchase emotes in Content Warning, you must first earn some ad revenue and exit your house. Then, head to the left side, where you will see the 'Order Here' kiosk, where you can use money to purchase any of the 16 emotes.

I'd recommend only getting the emote that you want to use in a video right now and not purchasing loads of them. This is because, at the moment, you can only use one emote at a time and you cannot switch between emotes.

Add the emote you want to your cart and purchase it. Doing so will drop a package in front of the store on the square box with patterns on the ground. Pick it up and press the 'LMB' to learn the respective emote
