Monsters are at the core of Content Warning, as without them, there would be nothing scary to film for SpöökTube!

This primer is an all-encompassing bestiary for the new viral sensation Content Warning, with tips and tricks on escaping the game's ghastly monstrosities.

Angler

Description: A massive angler fish with long, skinny arms and fingers. Lures its prey with mimics.

How to escape: Don't chase after the imposters or get too close to the Angler.

How to escape: Don't let it see you.

Bombs

How to escape: Bait it into attacking you with bombs, and when it starts preparing to explode, run away and get behind cover before it detonates.

Description: A sizable barnacle with four tentacle-like appendages. Capable of close and long-range attacks.

How to escape: Keep a safe distance from it, and try to put structures and objects between you and it so it can't suck you toward it or hit you with its toxic shots.

Dog

Description: A robot with four legs and a turret on its back that resembles the robodogs from the Metalhead episode of Black Mirror.

How to escape: Stay out of its line of sight.

How to escape: Avoid pointing your flashlight at its eyes, and it won't turn hostile.

Description: A jellyfish-like monster with a harpoon-like device impaled through the top of it. Wanders invisible before emitting a mind-controlling red light.

How to escape: Extremely dangerous. If you suspect a Flicker is around, immediately leave the area and try to stare at the floor or the ceiling. If you see a Flicker, it's already too late.

Harpoon/Knife (also known as Ghost)

Description: Resembles a child in a makeshift ghost costume holding a knife.

How to escape: If you can dodge its first few attacks, it'll disappear.

Jello

Description: Resembles a half-slug, half-snail hybrid made of gelatin.

How to escape: Not much of a threat. Just don't touch it!
