If you want to become a Master Assassin of the Brotherhood, it's important you learn how to get Skill Points in Assassin's Creed: Mirage to upgrade your abilities and gain new powers.

Assassin's Creed: Mirage ditches the role-playing game formula of the three previous entries, which means that there is no XP system or levels for your character and enemies. This stripped-back approach means earning Skill Points in the game is a little different than many players may be used to. So, take a look at how to get Skill Points in AC Mirage.

How can you get Skill Points in Assassin's Creed: Mirage?

There are three main ways to get Skill Points in Assassin's Creed: Mirage: completing main missions, completing contracts, and finding Lost Books

As the game has no XP system or numerical progression system, you only earn Skill Points for meeting these specific criteria, instead of accumulating them as you play.

When you receive a Skill Point in the game, the notification will appear in the top-middle of the screen, before remaining in the top-right until they are used to gain new skills.

It's worth noting that not all main missions will offer Skill Points in the game. However, most major missions (like big assassination targets) do give you Skill Points after finishing them.

There's no way to know this before doing a mission, but you'll notice a general pattern as you play through the game.

Contracts

Not all contracts gift you Skill Points in AC Mirage either, but you can see which contracts do, as they will be listed among the rewards when you accept from the Assassin Bureau.

Lost Books

Finally, finding a Lost Book will award you a single Skill Point. These are collectables found in each region, often requiring you to solve a simple puzzle to grab them.

You can track Lost Books down by using Enkidu to scout and follow the yellow beams of light found around Baghdad.

That's all for our primer on how to get Skill Points in Assassin's Creed: Mirage, and now you know the main ways to get points, so you can grab new skills and abilities.
