Knowing how to reduce notoriety is key in Assassin's Creed: Mirage if you want to freely explore ancient Baghdad and carry out your assassinations without worrying about enemy soldiers trying to kill you in the street.

As a Hidden One, you'll spend lots of time in Assassin's Creed: Mirage carefully planning out and executing assassination contracts. However, from time to time things will go wrong, and you'll be caught in the act, giving you notoriety and ensuring all the guards of Baghdad are out to get you.

If you end up in a situation in the game where you're wanted for stealing, murder, or trespassing, you can get out of it and return to being an anonymous assassin. So, check out how to reduce notoriety in Assassin's Creed: Mirage.

How do you reduce your notoriety in Assassin's Creed: Mirage?

To reduce notoriety in Assassin's Creed: Mirage, you will need to first escape from any pursuing guards and then rip down wanted posters, or bribe a Munadi with a Power Favor Token

Your notoriety in AC Mirage is measured by a metre that appears at the bottom of the screen. When it's full you are being pursued, but on the first tier of the metre, it just means you are considered notorious, so all the guards of Baghdad will know you from a glance.

If you want to go back to being anonymous from this tier, the two options highlighted above are your best bet.

Wanted posters can be found on the street level and are marked with a poster symbol on the compass. You'll need to rip up a few of these to reduce your notoriety in Assassin's Creed: Mirage completely.

The alternative is finding a Munadi, who are marked on the map by a ripped poster symbol, and bribing them with a Power Favor Token. They will then remove all your notoriety, resetting you back to being anonymous.

This is your best option because it's the easiest, and Power Favor Tokens can be farmed by pickpocketing NPCs consistently. It's worth building up a surplus of these for whenever you need to reduce your notoriety quickly in the game.

Now you know all the key information about how to reduce notoriety in Assassin's Creed: Mirage, and you should have no issue staying anonymous on the streets of ancient Baghdad.
