Meet The New Apex Legends Voice Actor For Valkyrie - Erika Ishii

Apex Legends' latest trailer just dropped, and the Stories from The Outlands: Northstar, introduced us to our new Legend - Valkyrie.

The bold, brash, fiery, and fierce daughter of Titanfall 2 antagonist pilot Viper is set to enter the Apex Games when the ninth season enters on May 4, and the entire Apex Legends community are abuzz with the news of their new Legend, and the connection to TF2.

But many fans may be wondering - who is going to voice the new character?

Well, wonder no more, as Kairi Imahara (or Valkyrie/Valk) is voiced by Erika Ishii, who you may recognise from Destiny 2, where she lent her voice to Ana Bray and Kridis, and is set to bring life to Valkyrie in Apex Legends.

Who Voices Valk in Apex Legends?

Erika Ishii is a pretty well-known voice actor and actress from Los Angeles, California, and has voiced some of gamings most memorable and brilliant characters, including Ruth in Cyberpunk 2077, Domina Venomblade in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, and too many characters to count in Fallout 76.

Erika seems more than ready to take on the role of Valkyrie and show her story to the world; and the Apex community are embracing her with open arms as their new champion, even showing off their fan art to welcome her to the Legends crew.
