Apex Legends' Urban Assault Collection event has been revealed by Respawn and it's introducing an array of exciting modes and features. Whether it's the Apex Rumble tournament system, the return of Three Strikes, or the magnificent Octane Prestige skin, this patch is packed with content.

To make sure you're fully aware of everything coming to the game in the next update, here's a full breakdown of the Urban Assault Collection event and when it starts.

When does the Urban Assault Collection event release?

The Urban Assault Collection event will begin in Apex Legends on April 23, 2024, and last until May 7, 2024.

That's plenty of time to earn all the free cosmetics, enjoy Three Strikes, and potentially even bag the premium Octane cosmetic.

The trailer highlights all of the skins and cosmetics that are going to be available to collect during the Urban Assault Collection Event.

Three Strikes LTM returns

The fan-favourite Three Strikes LTM is back in the upcoming patch, which will be amazing news to those who experienced the chaotic fun of the mode back when it was last in the rotation.

For anyone who hasn't played it before, Three Strikes features faster revives, invincibility when downed, and three shots at survival. Players will only be eliminated when the entire team is wiped, then you'll lose a strike and respawn one POI away from where you were killed.

Urban Assault is bringing a new way to compete in the form of Apex Rumble, which is only in its beta stage at the moment. The asynchronous tournament system allows you to rack up points and climb the leaderboard depending on your performance in-game, which is based on kills, assists, and damage.

Apex Rumble will kick off with Urban Assault Rumble, which will feature Three Strikes matches as the chosen mode. Remember, there are no premade squads, so you'll have to rely on your personal skills. This also opens up the door to use up some extra Legend Tokens, as they can be exchanged to reset your score and charge back into battle.

Octane's "Apex Riptide" Prestige skin is the star cosmetic of Urban Assault, with the collectable looking absolutely incredible.

Sporting a futuristic black, green and purple design, Octane almost looks like a robot from the future or a Cyberpunk character.

If you want to add this to your account, you'll need to unlock all 24 items available in Urban Assault by opening Collection event packs.

Not everyone wants to pull out their wallet for cosmetics and luckily, Urban Assault is bringing a host of free rewards to collect in Apex Legends.

These rewards can be obtained by completing challenges that are refreshed every single day, so keep your eyes peeled for the reset. The free rewards track rarely takes very long to complete, so if you're low on time, don't worry.
