For some reason, Apex Legends Season 17 has driven players away from using actual weapons, and has kickstarted a bizarre trend of using fistfights to become the last team standing.

Gamers have quickly found success in some form by replacing guns with Arc Stars and damage-based legends like Fuse and Valkyrie, while others have climbed to the absolute peak of Apex Legends by simply sitting in trees.

But now, a wild glitch is drawing players into the one place where guns actually aren’t allowed, and Apex Legends is turning into Street Fighter.

Most players who have dropped into Olympus know that horrific boxing ring within the map, the POI that strikes fear into players when their random Jumpmaster B-lines for it, thinking their Pathfinder Heirloom makes him Mike Tyson.

But now a new melee glitch is making for some formidable foes in the ring, as Ballistic is chaining melee blows like something from Street Fighter.

Taking to Reddit, one fan shared a clip of a lone Ballistic character challenging anyone to a fight in the ring, only to spark out a pathfinder after glitching six melee attacks in one second.

The wild Street Fighter glitch isn't the only blunder to happen to this POI in Season 17 either, as it's recently been showcased that Wraith can glitch into the ring with her weapons and cause absolute anarchy.

By using her phase ability, the voidwalker could appear inside the ring with her full arsenal, leaving gun-less opponents as nothing more than target practice.

Respawn Entertainment will likely be keeping a close eye on these glitches with hotfixes coming in the near future, but if they decided that this arena will fall victim to a Fragment-like lava fissure, there probably won't be many people complaining - especially if they added to the training arena...
