Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 theme rumours and theories
Mark June 8 on your calendars, as a new season of Fortnite is now just two weeks away!
As is tradition, the community is hard at work trying to predict and theorise the new season’s theme. While nothing is concrete yet, we already have some serious hints, rumours, and leaks coming out about Chapter 2 Season 7.

As we speak, players can complete a series of Foreshadowing Quests in-game. These quests include tasks such as repairing damaged telescopes, investigating a downed helicopter, placing warning signs at crop circles, and more. These Foreshadowing Quests seem to hint that something big is going on in the skies above the Fortnite island.
For example, there is dialogue for the “repair damaged telescopes” quests where Bunker Jonesy says, “They’re coming for our telescopes? What’s next? Microscopes? It’s almost like someone doesn't want us looking at the stars.”
The crop circle quest warns of aliens, and that isn't the only alien-related hint we have. A secret audio message has been discovered at Stealthy Stronghold, and it sounds just like some sort of alien relay.
Leaked Alien Files
Chapter 2 Season 6’s final update was released on May 25, and it includes a slew of alien-themed files. For example, posters have been scattered around the map with alien images on them.
If that’s not enough to convince you, an abundance of UFO and alien prop sounds have been found in the files. There’s even an animation for when your character gets abducted!
These newly released game files all but ensure that Chapter 2 Season 7 has something to do with extraterrestrial creatures.
Leaked Space POI
Reputable Fortnite leakers suggest that a new Fortnite point of interest (POI) is set to appear in the sky above the Fortnite island. This POI will become playable in Season 7. This was first suggested by the leaker “water”, the same person that correctly leaked information about previous seasons.
Could this be the beginning of an alien invasion? The famous dataminer, HYPEX, seems to think so. HYPEX claims that UFOs will begin abducting players and teleporting them to different locations on the map. This leaked space POI could be their main base of operations.
The Seven
The Seven are a mysterious organisation that plays a major role in the events occurring in the world of Fortnite. These seven individuals seem to be on a mission to stabilise the loop and control the Zero Point. However, their true intentions are unknown. The Foundation, the leader of The Seven, is currently contained in the Zero Point. He’s the one who was helping out Agent Jonesy in Chapter 2 Season 6’s story mission.
Members of The Seven arrived on the Fortnite island from somewhere in space. Maybe the leaked space POI is their home base? Whatever the theme of Chapter 2 Season 7 is, it’s almost certain that The Seven will be involved.

The Loop has been a major part of Fortnite lore dating back to before the Battle Royale mode had been released. As the seasons have gone on, knowledge of the Loop has grown, and it’s become a critical part of the Fortnite experience.
Everything on the island’s looping, even the seasons.
- Season One is a fresh start
- Season Two features original inhabitants of the island
- Season Three was highlighted by a catastrophic event (Meteor for Chapter 1, Flood for Chapter 2)
- Season Four was superhero-themed
- Season Five brought people from a different reality
- Season Six revolved around wildlife (Werewolves in Chapter 1, Primal animals in Chapter 2)
As you can see, the two Fortnite Chapters share strikingly similar parallels. If the pattern or loop keeps up, Season 7 could be winter-themed. More likely, though, Season 7 will revolve around some kind of alien invasion or a war with The Seven. Chapter 1 Season 7 featured Sgt. Winter and his army’s invasion of the island. A similar event occurring in Chapter 2 Season 7 would continue the Loop.
It’s important to keep in mind that a lot of this is speculation. Thanks to leaks and hints spread throughout the game, we can theorise what Chapter 2 Season 7’s theme may be. However, Epic Games always seems to have a trick or two up their sleeve. There’s no way they enter into Season 7 without throwing a couple of surprises our way.
The information we have on hand strongly suggests that Chapter 2 Season 7 will be alien/space-themed. But how exactly will the events leading up to the implementation of this theme unfold? We’ll just have to wait and see.
