Warzone Players Really Hate The Game's Rocks

Warzone players have taken to Reddit to moan about the game's rocks. It's a busy day for fans, clearly.

There's only one thing that Warzone players love more than Warzone. And that's complaining about Warzone.

Though the game is completely free-to-play, and gamers have no obligation whatsoever to engage with the game, it still won't stop them from showing up in their droves online to slate Warzone - though equally, it's hard to fault them. The game has a wealth of problems like server stability and a nightmarish cheating problem, and the game has been in a bit of a sorry state as of late.

However, every so often, players will have a menial gripe that will denounce the very real problems of the game as mere moaning - and this week's discourse is about the game's rocks. Yes, really.

Warzone Players Are Angry At Caldera's Rocks

The latest round of Warzone moaning has been decided to be about the game's rocks, which players are beginning to report are costing them wins.

A new video shared into the r/Warzone subreddit shows off a path in a gap between a rocky mountain, that to the surprise of the original poster, is completely untraversable. The video shows the player spotting the path up the hill, and making a run at it - but they seem to get stuck, unable to climb it. It seems as though it's just too steep for them to make it, and it makes the path (that by all accounts should be perfectly fine to climb) completely unusable.

"This path being unclimbable broke my brain," reads the caption. "This map is flat out untraversable."

Fans in the comments have echoed the original poster's sheer disdain for the collection of digital rocks, claiming that it's causing them some trouble in heated moments of the game.

"What the f**k were they thinking?" asks one commenter. "Making it look like it was a path made for walking and these superhuman soldiers just can't go up, because it's 2 degrees too steep."

"I've died in the gas to this path," claims another user, implying that this issue is actually ruining games. "Made me rage so hard."

It might seem like an incredibly minor issue in such a huge map, but given that it's actually costing players games, it's clearly something that could do with a fix, even though it does have echoes of Warzone players' calls to nerf the sun.

Still - a 'rock fix' is likely low on the priorities of developers, Raven Software, who had to delay the release of Warzone Pacific Season 2 to rework weapon balance and improve stability, among many other things.
