We're ready for Warzone Season 2 to bring the beloved Fortune's Keep map back into the fold, meaning the community is over the moon about its return.

The iconic location may be familiar to OG players, but developers at High Moon Studios have made some intriguing and mysterious changes to the location. While taking on enemies in Resurgence and looking to secure victories, you'll want to make time for some exploring as well.

Reports from the devs have revealed that Fortune's Keep has a secret vault that is incredibly difficult to find - but what treasures lay within?

Fortune's Keep map is coming with a secret vault in Warzone

According to the popular Call of Duty Twitter account CharlieINTEL, Fortune's Keep has a "secret vault for players to find on the map."

The devs are remaining tight-lipped about the details and have refused to share any clues on how to find it. This suggests opening the vault may require completing a puzzle, task, or maybe even a specific objective found in another location.

While playing the map at Treyarch with other creators, CharlieINTEL revealed that "no one found it," despite trying their best to locate the mysterious vault.

Following the release of Season 2, it'll be interesting to see how long it takes fans to track down the hidden room. Based on the CoD community's experience with complicated easter eggs, we doubt it will take long at all.

No one knows what Warzone's secret vault contains

Sorry, there has been an issue in subscribing to the newsletter.

It's a complete mystery what lies inside but if we had to speculate, it's most likely a tonne of top-tier loot to kit you out for your Resurgence match.

When it's first discovered, it may be a solid strategy for a while, but once it becomes well-known, you can almost guarantee this spot is going to be infested with enemies.

If you enjoy the chaos, there's a chance running to the secret vault could be a great way to secure kills -  we'll just have to wait and see.
