As the most-watched female streamer on the planet, as of 2020, Rachel "Valkyrae" Hofstetter is constantly in the limelight, even after her power button is switched off for the day.

With her popularity soaring, Valkyrae has recently become co-owner of 100 Thieves and began starring in music videos such as Machine Gun Kelly's "Daywalker" and Bella Porche's most recent hit. However, the streamer has recently considered quitting the internet due to the hate received and has now opened up regarding some of the "horrifying" experiences she's had since becoming a superstar.

Valkyrae's Horrifying Experiences as a streamer

Taking to her latest stream, Rae told her chat that “there isn’t something I haven’t seen. I’ve seen everything. I’ve seen it all,” when discussing the type of hate and creepy messages she receives.

Whilst waiting in a pre-game VALORANT lobby, Valkyrae continued to describe certain disturbing circumstances which have been truly horrifying. In one instance she said "I have actually seen a p*rn video of two random people, but the title is "Valkyrae and Sykunno" doing blah blah blah. Just two random people that don't look like either of us".

She also continued to say that some Twitter users have created accounts that are filled with people "busting on" photos of her and her friends, whilst she and the aforementioned friends have had to deal with real-life stalkers too.

Valkyrae Warns Aspiring Streamers

Rae's comments didn't come as a casual story time though, as she used these instances to warn aspiring streamers what the internet can be like.

She added: "This is one huge downside to being on the internet. You’re exposed to crazy people. A lot of my friends have stalkers. It’s unfortunate how common it is. There’s no internet police, you know? There is none. It’s crazy. It’s scary.”

“It’s important. There’s a lot of people who want to get into streaming and become content creators and stuff. And you’ve got to know the bad things about it.”

Fortunately for Valkyrae, and the millions of viewers who enjoy her content, it appears she's made of thicker skin than most. Her comments did open fans' eyes though, with many commending her for continuing to stream.
