These are not the crossovers you're looking for. While it might be hard to imagine how the Viking backdrop of Valheim can be tied to that galaxy far, far away, but now, only sci-fi stan has added the Millennium Falcon to the role-playing adventure game. With Star Wars still going strong some 44 years after A New Hope premiered, we've seen the franchise have its own titles and branch out into everything from Fortnite to Cyberpunk 2077. Now, it's Valheim's turn to pick up a lightsaber.

For those who haven't played Valheim yet (seriously, where have you been), you take on the role of a dead warrior who is sent to the mythical tenth realm of Valheim. This afterlife sees you fight against various mythical monsters and enemies of Odin. It's a pretty standard storyline you might expect from something like Sony's God of War, but either way, it's got nothing to do with Star Wars. Despite the two worlds being polar opposites, that hasn't stopped one gaming fan adding a touch of Star Wars to Valheim

What does the Millennium Falcon look like in Valheim?

Building in games is nothing new, but putting something as iconic in the Millennium Falcon in Valheim is something different. Posting on Reddit, u/Colonel-James-Parker showed off their impressive Millennium Falcon build. The two-minute video shows an eco-friendly Falcon against the backdrop of Valheim. It also lights up, and at the halfway point, we get a look inside.

Built in wood and thatching, the build is called the “Millenium Longboat". Wood Iron Beams are used to support the structure, while the hull is made from normal wood and thatched roofing. The most impressive part is the rear, which is created with green torches to replicate the Falcon's thrusters. Inside, we get to use the Millennium Falcon as a fully-functioning Valheim base to ward off berserker Vikings.

More than just as an aesthetic addition, the Millennium Falcon base also has a crafting station that will allow players to tool up. Those who've played Valheim will know crafting stations are a crucial part of how the game works. Couple that with a love of Star Wars, and you're on to a winner. Be warned though, this base doesn't float or fly, meaning it's stuck in one spot. The OG poster said it a "test" version, at least suggesting the Falcon could get an upgrade in the near future.

Can you find the Millennium Falcon in Valheim?

As with most of these games, the build is specific to one person's Valheim. It's not like Cyberpunk 2077 where you can download a mod and drop Han Solo and Chewie into Valheim. Now we've seen the potential of the Millennium Falcon in Valheim, we suspect other fans will start adding Star Wars to the title. The Death Star, Mos Eisley Cantina, the Mandalorian's Razor Crest ship, the opportunities are endless. Only recently, one player showed off their homage to Skyrim's High Hrothgar monastery. Personally, we'd love to see Hyrule Castle rebuilt in Valheim

The detail on the Valheim Millennium Falcon is truly amazing, but it's only when you get up-close, you get to see it in all its glory. It's unclear whether the builder is going to focus on bringing other pop culture favourites to life in Valheim, but we hope they do. We also love the way the Millennium Falcon has melded the modern and the classic for something that actually doesn't look too out of place in the Viking violence of Valheim
