Usually in Warzone, it's easy to find a weapon that's either got tonnes of damage or has impressive stability, but identifying one that strikes a balance between the two can feel like an impossible task.
While the AR and LMG categories are the go-to for the majority of competitors in Season 1, Battle Rifles also have a lot to offer. This is especially true at long-range, with BRs hitting hard from a distance and with the right attachments, they can achieve a solid level of control.
Well, Warzone guru WhosImmortal believes they've found the best of the bunch that's more than capable of melting enemy health bars on Urzikstan.
Lethal Battle Rifle is "broken" at long-range in Warzone
Attachments
- Barrel: MTZ Clinch Pro Barrel
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
- Optic: CORIO Eagleseye 2.5x
- Magazine: 30 Round Mag
Put aside the Pulemyot 762, WSP Swarm, and RAM-7 for a second because it's time to take a look at the underrated MTZ-762.
Magazine capacity aside, this Battle Rifle is a powerhouse in Warzone and actually has better stability than its competitor, the BAS-B. On top of that, the gun has an "insane" TTK that competes at both mid to long-range, making it extremely versatile.
The loadout above is all about maximising "ease of use" while also ensuring the weapon retains its hard-hitting nature. This setup is intended to be used in full-auto, so it even has the capability of performing up close with a foe if necessary.
How popular is the MTZ-762 in Warzone?
According to WZStats, the MTZ-762 Battle Rifle has a 1.28% pick rate, which puts it at number twenty in the overall popularity rankings. This is far too low for a weapon with this much power and shows just how underrated this option is in Season 1.
If you're someone constantly on the lookout for off-meta weapons or hidden gems that are going under the radar - this has to be in your arsenal.
