Trick shotting is back in Call of Duty

The re-emergence of maps like Rust and Highrise (and its many glitch spots) in Modern Warfare 3 has opened the floodgates to cameos of 360s and montages of quickscoping just like the good old days.

But one player is upping the ante, as Twitch streamer "DeanoBeano" is whipping out mid-air broomstick shots whilst not even using a controller; instead, he controls his sniper and movement with a flute, or a Guitar (Hero edition).

DeanoBeano pulls off a Highrise no-scope whilst using the flute

DeanoBeano is a Call of Duty streamer like no other. While FaZe Clan and its cronies are using Mouse and Keyboard or controllers to land those montage clips and game-winning trickshots, DeanoBeano uses actual musical instruments, warping commands to different flute notes or strings of a guitar.

Now he's landed on the Modern Warfare 3 Beta, and after just a handful of days learning the trade, he's already pulled off the Highrise Crane no-scope shot.

Using a flute, the streamer climbed the crane in Highrise and plummeted himself off the top towards pending peril, only to pull off a 360 no-scope mid-air by tooting his tune to perfection.

DeanoBeano did admit that this came with many, many failures, but thanks to eight hours on the Highrise 24/7 playlist, he finally nailed his foe.

The streamer didn't stop there either, as he has continued to wreak havoc on other maps, no-scoping off the top of Rust and hitting collaterals on Favela.

He even nailed a five-feed of kills, including one collat, on Favela, first gunning down an oncoming player before using the UAV recon to swivel back on enemies behind him, taking down four more enemies in three bullets and lighting up the kill-feed in yellow.

This time, he used a Guitar Hero kit.

DeanoBeano might actually be better at Call of Duty than all of us by simply using musical instruments. Might be time for us to pack in this controller malarkey.
