From the moment that Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff's skin was pulled from the Call of Duty store, many thousands of Warzone and Modern Warfare players launched a boycott of the series, including streamer friends Herschel "Dr Disrespect" Beahm and Tim "TimTheTatman" Betar.
The NICKMERCS skin was yanked from the CoD store after he made controversial LGBTQ+ comments on social media, and Activision decided to axe the first-ever icon series skin depicting players devoted to the franchise.
And with TimTheTatman following suit, demanding his skin be pulled if Nick's was too, neither of said skin personnel have returned to play a second of CoD. Well, until now.
TimTheTatman finally returns to Warzone
Say what you want about Call of Duty, but it has some serious pull when it comes to its devoted fan base and entertainment status, and no one really leaves the community forever. Case in point: TimTheTatman.
Following the launch of Urzikstan, TimTheTatman has now dropped out of the plane and 'chuted down to the action alongside Dr Disrespect and Dennis "Cloakzy" Lepore.
Funnily enough, the Warzone session might have even landed Cloakzy in some hot water, as he went live on Twitch with Dr Disrespect in the party, something which has previously earned him a ban, given that Doc is permanently excavated from the site, even after signing for Kick.
Will NICKMERCS return to Call of Duty too?
Now TimTheTatman is back, some may be hoping that NICKMERCS will too, but it does seem that Nick is still fully fixated on advancing a career in Apex Legends esports, although his Tripods squad missed out on ALGS qualification this year by a single point.
For now, it's likely we might see a bit more of TimTheTatman as he mixes up his gaming portfolio between Warzone, Fortnite, Apex, and more, but not with Nick.
There's also probably not a world where Tim might start advocating that his skin should return to the store, given that Kris "Swagg" Lamberson and Seth "Scump" Abner both claim their in-talk concepts were scrapped after the drama, but it's nice to see the squad back and rocking is Urzikstan while TimTheTatman dies to fall damage again.
