The rumours continue to swirl that Tim "TimTheTatMan" Betar could join the exclusive ranks of 100 Thieves. The idea that the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Fortnite favourite could join 100T has been blowing in on the wind for a while, but with each day, it looks like we're edging closer to an official announcement.

As one of Twitch's big names, TimTheTatMan has connections to the likes of 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan, but is yet to sign to an official organisation. The 31-year-old has teased a big announcement and an opportunity is on the horizon. While we've been speculating about what this could be, the latest update is our biggest clue yet that he'll soon be stepping out in a 100T jersey.

WILL TIMTHETATMAN JOIN 100 THIEVES?

Last month, TimTheTatMan sent tongues wagging when he went to Los Angeles on mysterious business. Sparking the rumours, Betar told his followers at the time, “I have business in LA, alright? I can’t confirm or deny what it is. I have business in LA. I’m gonna be staying at the 100 Thieves house with the boys. That’s the bottom line, okay? That may or may not have any correlation with me being in LA". Now, he's back in the City of Angels and has been spotted dining with Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag and Jack "CouRage" Dunlop.

The 100 Thieves CEO and co-owner might just be friends with TimTheTatMan, but with CouRage posting a snap of them at dinner, it's entirely possible they've been discussing a future business venture. It's also interesting to note that Dunlop captioned it "family dinner". Insert puzzled emoji here. While Bentar was with the 100T boys, he claimed they didn't film any content - which we find hard to believe. It's easy to imagine the trio filmed a big announcement video that's just around the corner.

SHOULD TIMTHETATMAN JOIN 100 THIEVES?

Betar signing with 100 Thieves could be a lucrative move for both sides. With the content creator averaging 45,000 Twitch viewers per stream, around 8,000 new followers a month, and sitting comfortably in the Top 60 most successful streamers on the service, it's about time he joined an org. Safe to say, the streaming community is also on board with TimTheTatMan joining 100 Thieves. Esports Talk's Jake Lucky wrote, "If Timthetatman don’t join 100 Thieves after this weekend the entire community has been robbed".

Not everyone was convinced though. One critic added, "Nah just a business trip and staying with friends he hasn’t seen in a year". Bentar could've just been visiting his pals post-pandemic, but personally, we think there's an imminent announcement. Bentar has carved himself a great career on his own, but to get that next leg up, 100 Thieves could be a big help. Whichever way you look at it, the idea of recruiting TimTheTatman would be one of the biggest 100 Thieves signings to date. As with all these rumours, we'll have to keep our ears close to the ground for now.
