As far as the early debate for the best VALORANT player in the world goes, Sentinels' young superstar Tyson "TenZ" Ngo has put one foot in the door after his stellar performance in the Champions Tour Stage 2 Masters, Reykjavík.

Taking home the Day Seven MVP award after also getting his hands on the first international VALORANT trophy, TenZ is now widely regarded as the best player in the world. Boasting incredible performances and taking the accolades with him, it's hard to argue otherwise.

However, one player posting up similar numbers, albeit without international success, is Turkish tyrant Mehmet Yağız "cNed" İpek.

The 19-year-old initiator is grabbing the headlines for Acend, racking up a gold medal in the Stage 1 European Masters and taking home the tournament MVP too.

With such success, TenZ has now credited his counterpart, branding him as the best player in Europe.

TenZ Claims cNeD Is The Best VALORANT Player In Europe

The two players are often the showstoppers in their respective regions, both operating Jett to add a sprinkle of spice to their overall team compositions.

With that in mind, TenZ claimed "I actually think he’s [cNeD] the best EU player. I’ve watched how he plays. He actually uses Jett wisely."

TenZ continued: "Almost every NA Jett player wastes their abilities. They don’t know how to properly use Cloud Burst,

"They always instantly dash away. He’s really good at only dashing away when he needs to. Especially as an Op-er, that’s so important."

Both duelists could be set to light up the world stage together, as Acend and Sentinels qualified for their regional Playoff events which will determine who will be going to the Stage 3 Masters, Berlin.

Acend missed out on Masters qualification in Stage 2, losing to NiP and Team Vitality, but will have the chance to rectify this in Stage 3. Should cNeD lead Acend to Berlin, a match-up against TenZ would be one for the early VALORANT history books.
