Overwatch pro player and streamer Jehong "ryujehong" Ryu has been banned from Twitch.tv. The length and the reason for the suspension is currently unknown, though many fans expect DMCA-related issues to be the culprit. The only certainty we currently have is that his Twitch account "wpghd321" returns the error message "Sorry. Unless you’ve got a time machine, that content is unavailable" as it does when streamers have been temporarily banned. The silver lining is that it's the first time that ryujehong has been bad, making it rather unlikely that the ban is permanent.

Ryujehong is one of Overwatch's most iconic players, first rising to fame during OGN's APEX series, winning the second and the third season with his team Lunatic-Hai. During the time, he was considered one of if not the best player in the world due to his incredible Ana play. At the start of the Overwatch League, ryujehong joined the Seoul Dynasty but with limited success. Staying with the team for two seasons, he eventually ended up with his old rivals from RunAway under the Vancouver Titans banner. Due to a severe falling out between the players and the organisation, ryujehong found himself teamless in the middle of season 3 during the global pandemic.

Since then he has taken to streaming and general content creation, interviewing Overwatch League players for his stream and YouTube channel. Furthermore, he has announced his intent to play professionally again posting a Looking For Team tweet to his Twitter account on October 17. Currently, he has not been linked to any team.
