Blizzard has announced a collaboration with a K-Pop group to celebrate the release of their new single.

Le Sserafim, a group formed in 2022, will be debuting their single Perfect Night on 26 October with the event coming a few days later on 1 November.

A K-Pop group will be collaborating with Overwatch for the release of their new single

Le Sserafim have teamed up with Overwatch to celebrate the upcoming release of their new single Perfect Night.

The announcement from Blizzard said: "One of the fastest growing K-pop groups on the planet, this fearless group of five (KIM CHAEWON, SAKURA, HUH YUNJIN, KAZUHA, and HONG EUNCHAE) bring their talents to Overwatch 2 this season."

The group released a teaser trailer for the song on 17 October, which has been met with a lot of positivity from fans of the group and Overwatch alike.

While the majority of comments are focussed on the song, some mention the Overwatch collaboration.

"One of my fave girl groups collabing with Overwatch!? Wild!" commented one poster.

Another said: "I didn't know them till now they will collab with Overwatch, so I get into their music! I love it!"

Within the video, the group pays a subtle homage to their Overwatch collab, as each of the girls is wearing a variation of D.Va's headset.

The collaboration will include a new game-mode and legendary skins

Overwatch has stated that the collaboration will include a LE SSERAFIM-inspired game mode and exclusive in-game items, including Legendary hero skins.

More details will be revealed on 30 October, with the event going live a few days later on 1 November.

As a part of the collaboration, Le Sserafim will be performing at BlizzCon on 4 November, following the conclusion of the Community Night.
