A new Pokemon game, titled Pokemon UNITE, has just been revealed in a surprise new trailer.

The game looks to feature gameplay that combines the MOBA stylings of League of Legends, and a sprinkling of basketball thrown in there too. The trailer sees a pre-rendered animation of the playable Pokemon characters in battle in an arena, and it is followed by some gameplay of them engaging in top-down combat.

You can check out the trailer here:

The game is set to release on the Nintendo Switch on July 21, 2021, and will be coming to mobile in September 22, 2021. Pokemon's first-ever MOBA looks to be an interesting one, and we can't wait to get our hands on it.
