The Philadelphia Fusion have re-signed off-tank Gael "Poko" Gouzerch.

The player's contract status had been pending on an expiring option for the Fusion until November 13 and therefore fans were fearing that the fan-favourite might not return next season, given the league-wide cost-cutting measures. Tension rose after the departure of Jun-ho "Fury" Kim that further change in the off-tank role was coming to the fusion, possibly making Poko's contributions obsolete. Fortunately, the lovely Frenchmen will be playing for the Fusion in his fourth years in 2021.

While not conducting a full rebuild, the Fusion had started significant changes under head coach Bumhoon "NineK" Kim, bringing on main tank Dong-gyu "Mano" Kim and letting long-time main tank starter Su-min "SADO" Kim go. On top of Fury, Isaac "Boombox" Charles and Seung-hyun "Ivy" Lee also left the team. More departures are expected during this off-season, with more player signing news expected soon.

The Fusion had their arguably best season this year, finishing on top of the regular-season standings in the North American region and making it to Grand Finals week, finishing in the top 4 for the season. Coming into season 4, they will likely still be considered one of the top teams coming in.
