No Man's Sky Players Have Made Rave Planets

It was only a matter of time until players of Hello Games’ incredible No Man’s Sky began using the synthesizers inside the world to create chaotic good. Fans have been so happy with the introduction of the instruments (that allow you to compose your own music), that they’ve created two planets that are literally just for raving on.

Those behind the creation of the worlds have dubbed them ‘Dual Rave Planets’, with one being more of a blue colour, and the other red. The founder of the planets, Galactic Geographic, told Polygon: “I used to be a raver in high school, so I thought it’d be fun to celebrate the whole PLUR culture and that bioluminescent planets would be the perfect spot to do so.” He added that the raving scene was cemented in “peace, love, unity, and respect” and that it was a “good message”.

The red planet, which has been named Electric Diplo Carnival (an homage to Electric Daisy Carnival), consists of large neon mushrooms (what else?!).

The blue planet is called Lepios (my personal favourite). It has a non-stop stream of meteor showers, under which ravers can dance the night away.

As you can imagine, news of the planets has spread to Reddit.

When the synthesizer was introduced, the studio referred to it as the ByteBeat Device. Players could construct it in their base using ‘module blueprints from the Space Anomaly. Hello Games released an announcement at the time, saying: “Base building is a big part of what people spend their time doing in our game, and a frequent request is for the ability to add sounds and music to their construction,

“Our team always likes a creative challenge, and audio is one of our big passions. Over the last few weeks one of our coders got obsessed with making an audio creation tool for the community, we were so excited about it, we thought it’d be a nice surprise to release it.”

Let us know the coordinates if you find the rave planets - please!
