While we wait patiently for any news about Borderlands 4, Gearbox Software is trying to cast a spell over us all with Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. As a sequel to 2013's Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC, Wonderlands once again puts its own spin on fantasy tabletop games.

The titular demolition expert takes centre stage once again, as players are thrown into this world of witches and warlocks. Although some have accused it of being little more than a Borderlands 3 reskinTiny Tina's Wonderlands is proving to be a welcome expansion of the franchise. Speaking of which, you might spot a few familiar faces as you roll the dice.

Fans Go Wild With Tiny Tina's Character Creator

It's no surprise that some old friends from the Borderlands game stop by in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, but now, it turns out others from the wider world of pop culture have managed to make an appearance. Well, not quite. Just like Elden Ring players have been making everyone from Samuel L. Jackson to Darth MaulTiny Tina's character creator has turned up a tonne of icons.

There are a whole host of TV and movie characters who are appearing in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, with BlueLobster47 making their very own in-game Shrek to play around in her warped world. It reminds us a lot of the PS2 Shrek game from 2004. Captioning it "Shrek is love. Shrek is life," it's a nod to a NSFW some of you might've seen.

With Tiny Tina's character creator giving you a variety of weird and wonderful skin tones to pick from, it's unlike a lot of modern games in terms of limitations. In theory, you could recreate Papa Smurf, Gamora, or even Patrick Starfish if you want. Better yet, these builds don't involve mods, meaning it's been even harder to create their likeness.

Who Else Have We Seen In Tiny Tina's Wonderlands?

Giving us the crossover we never knew we needed, someone else added God of War's Kratos, while we've also got to give a lot of love to the arrival of Nigel Thornberry. Tim Curry's family patriarch from The Wild Thornberry's looks right at home in Wonderlands. Still, Nigel's bulging eyes and bulbous nose make him look like some sort of nightmarish creature from The Lord of the Rings.

Elsewhere, everyone from Mario to Hagrid has been built in the game, so we can't wait to see who's next. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has already been praised as a fun way to pass the time, but now we can go in dressed as Wallace and Gromit or Marge Simpson, it suddenly got a little more interesting. We can't wait to waste some hours trying to recreate Handsome Squidward in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Well, if it's good enough for Elden Ring
