Modern Warfare Bug Blocks Players From Unlocking Damascus Camouflage
The grind for Damascus is both enthralling and excruciating, having the joys of ticking another weapon off your list, whilst being faced with the prospect of having to get your JOKR to gold. However, it all becomes worth it when you finally unlock the deep blue camo with swirls of orange and purple, loosely based on the beautiful capital city of Syria. But not for one Call of Duty gamer.

After unlocking platinum on all gun classes, Reddit user u/ebai69 was not gifted with the camouflage after endless hours and a huge dent in his kill to death ratio.
Im posting this video again. I recently got platinum for everything in the game but it decided not to give me the Damascus camo. I don’t it’s fair that I went through that long and hard grind to not get the reward I deserve. Please upvote this so a developer can it. from r/modernwarfare
As you can see, u/ebai69 was awarded with platinum on every weapon class, which should award you the Damascus camo, but he was left without the ultimate gun customisation, meaning endless hours of work had been rendered pointless.
User ebai69 appealed to Reddit to help a developer notice this bug, after being told that nobody could help him.
"I tried contacting their support but the website says that all their representatives are full." stated the frustrated gamer.
Since his appeal, however, he has now gone on to fix the bug and realised that the problem didn't lie with not being awarded Damascus, rather it was the game awarded him with platinum on his Riot Shield, without actually having unlocked all camouflages on it. In a separate post, he explained: "It turned out my riot shield was glitched and I had to get the final skulls camo".
He noticed this error without any help from the developers, realising Modern Warfare had glitched in awarding him the completionist title on the riot shield, despite not completing it.
This comes as yet another bug that has plagued Modern Warfare, as recent glitches such as the unnecessary opening of Parachutes and the unlimited gun glitch have run rife throughout the game.
