Apex Legends Season 17 introduced a huge amount of exciting features to the game and received an overwhelming amount of praise from players when it launched.

Whether it was Ballistic, the Firing Range overhaul, or the weapon mastery system, the consensus was that Respawn knocked it out of the park. However, as the season has progressed, more and more complaints have piled up regarding the balance of certain weapons and characters, as well as the Ranked system as a whole.

Well, TSM content creator Mikkel "Mande" Hestbek has voiced his opinion on the state of Apex Legends, arguing its become "stale & boring."

Mande isn't happy with the direction of Apex Legends

During a recent stream, Mande shared his thoughts on Apex Legends and some of the problems that are getting to him the most. Arguing the Apex has become "stale & boring," it's clear he's frustrated with the balance of certain characters and weapons in the current meta.

When asked if he'd play competitively again, the streamer responded saying, "I'm not going to play it until they know how to make a proper game... why would I play comp and make myself miserable."

Mande explained that in the current meta, you "have to play Seer and use the same f***ing guns over again," meaning there's no variety in the gameplay.

He even took a jab at the developers by saying that it "feels like they don't playtest anything... they just add s**t to the game without even thinking."

On the topic of Apex Legends Ranked, Mande called out the current system for being unbalanced and making it too easy for top-level players.

He explained to his viewers that he could "triple stack with three pro players and play Nemesis R99 every single game and I would win like 80% of the games, how is that fun?"

Mande made it clear that he could "solo to Masters without any guns or armour," but it's not fun and just proves how broken the current Ranked system is.

With Season 18 scheduled to arrive in early August, we'll have to see if the devs can address any of the major issues then.
