Here's one for all you Warzone tacticians. Ever saved up enough cash to get your loadout, and then be faced with the question, Ghost or Overkill? Only for you to Overkill and your one-shot sniper and hear "enemy UAV overhead" on the announcer.

Infuriating, isn't it? Well, not anymore. Heading into Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded, lootable Perk Packages are coming, and you can store them in your backpack.

Warzone 2 to add Perk Packages as ground loot

The most game-defying question in Warzone 2 is now being laid to rest, as you will now be able to store a combination of three perks in your backpack and swap them out for your active ones, should the game style change.

According to popular Call of Duty insiders ModernWarzone and Charlie Intel in their new podcast "Update Requires Restart," Raven Software will be adding these in the mid-season update on May 10.

The packages will be live in both casual and Ranked playlists as the Beta goes live for the competitive game mode, and can be bought from Buy Stations or found in lootboxes akin to killstreaks.

How will lootable Perk Packages work in Warzone 2?

Apparently straight out of the mouth of Raven Sofware, ModernWarzone reports that packages include the likes of Sentinel, Specter, and Scout that we already have in the game as presets. You can store them within your backpack, which can subsequently be changed with the one in your active inventory.

Your Loadout Perk Package will also count as one of the bootable objects, and they can even be picked up by enemies once you die, meaning that there's no certainty that you'll get your loot back if you get full-killed.

On the flip side, if you're coming back from the Gulag, there's a chance you can now get your full loadout and perks back off your dead body, which has never been possible before.
