We won, we really won. After years of trying to put on our 'poker face' and hammering the 'telephone,' our hopes of getting Lady Gaga in Fortnite were pretty 'shallow'. Now, it's time to give Epic Games a round of 'applause' because she's finally on the way.

Fortnite loves a musical crossover, and after recent collabs with The Weeknd and Eminem, it's about to be a woman's world. Lady Gaga is coming to Fortnite as part of Fortnite Festival, and in typical style, she had plenty of fun with the announcement.

Lady Gaga pokes fun at Fortnite reveal

Posting on Twitter, the "Just Dance" star followed up her infamous "What's fortnight" tweet from 2019. Updating us with the correct spelling, it seems that Gaga has finally learned what the game is. Others loved Gaga's response, as one joked, "Took 5 YEARS TO FIX THAT TYPO 💀."

Gaga is coming as part of Fortnite Festival Season 2: Unlock Your Talent, which launches on February 22. Similar to The Weeknd headlining Season 1 and getting his own Fortnite skin and music, it's much of the same for Gaga. Still, we'd hoped for something even bigger like Ariana Grande's infamous Rift Tour.

As confirmed by Epic, the Chromatica Armor Outfit will be available in the shop alongside the Chromatica Bass, Chromatica Mic, "Stupid Love" Jam Track, and Rain Check Emote. The Fortnite Festival reward track includes hit songs you can perform on the Chromatica-inspired stage, while the premium reward track includes the Enigmatic Gaga Outfit.

Aside from teaming up with The Rolling Stones on "Sweet Sounds of Heaven", Gaga has been pretty busy filming Joker: Folie à Deux. While we're excited to see her portrayal of DC villain Harley Quinn, it's also been a hot minute since Gaga gave us some new music.

Teasing some new music in 2024, Gaga took to Instagram on January 9 to share a snap alongside the caption, "🖤🎶." She's not yet revealed what she's cooking, but with several shots of her in the studio, fans are pumped. After Beyonce announced her move to country music, it could be time for a new vibe from Gaga.

If we are getting new Gaga music in 2024, it lines up neatly with her stopping by in Fortnite. What better way to boost your profile (not that she needs it) than by appearing in one of the biggest video games in the world? The Gaga renaissance is coming, and to be honest, we're totally here for it.
