Pick your side. Choose who to fight for to decide Caldera's fate. Hated Caldera from the second you deployed? Fancy yourself as a little bit of a devil, packed with a bit of Slytherin arrogance? Pick Villains. Want to save the day and fight for a brighter future? Pick Heroes. Either way, you get to decide Caldera's fate in Warzone Season 5, and you'll be going up against each other.

The four horsemen of baddies have arrived on Caldera to end it once and for all. Menendez, Rorke, Al Asad, and Seraph have arrived through the multiverse of madness for Warzone Season 5, and now good and evil will battle it out to decide how Caldera will end.

Through special events and limited-time game modes, players will be able to join the dark side or fight for a righteous world in Warzone, to end the game's legacy.

Warzone Season 5 Introduces Heroes Vs Villains Community Event

Coming in Warzone Season 5 is a Heroes vs Villains community event, where players will be forced to choose their side. During the event players will "collect Villain or Hero Tokens in all game modes by eliminating opponents and scavenging Supply Boxes," which can then be used to get Buy Station bonuses to defeat the enemy.

Players will be fighting for their choice of weapon blueprints during the event too. All players will receive a unique blueprint, although the design will depend on who wins out of the Heroes or Villains.

Both Heroes and Villains will receive the blueprint of the winning team, so even if you pick wrong, you'll be rewarded.

You'll also be able to earn other rewards such as the Legendary animated "One vs. One" Calling Card and the "Conflict Spike" Melee Weapon Blueprint through in-game challenges.

Warzone's Hero Vs Villains Theme Extended To More Game Modes

Alongside the Heroes vs Villains Warzone event will be two brand-new LTMs named "Lava Rock" and "Operation: Last Call".

The latter of these events will also pit Heroes and Villains against each other, as you can either decide to blow up Caldera or save it. In a Search and Destroy / Demolition-styled game mode, tailored for battle royale, you'll either be looking to take an objective to bomb sites around the map and set off a chain of explosions, or enter the bomb defusal squad and save the map.

Lava Rock, on the other hand, will add a different PvE enemy to Caldera, as the volcanic eruptions at the Peak POI will fire off huge boulders that can crush your operator.
