We've only just got used to jumping off the Battle Bus and into Tilted Towers, but apparently, Epic Games could wipe the fan-favourite POI from the map… again. We know Fortnite likes to mix things up in terms of locations, but come on, we’ve only just got used to Tilted’s return.

Chapter 3 Season 1 flipped the Fortnite map as we know it, and although Tilted Towers was originally MIA thanks to being under a layer of snow, it's now one of the game's hottest drops. First introduced in the original Season 2, Tilted Towers is one of the oldest POIs on the map. Over the years it's been hit by a meteorite, revamped as the futuristic Neo Tilted, and even been turned into Gotham City. Is it once again destined to kick the bucket?

What’s Going On With Tilted Towers?

As you might've noticed, things are already changing out there in the wide world of Fortnite. The IO drills dotted around the map are poised to wreak havoc, and we’ve already started to see the effects of this with the rumblings of earthquakes around the game.

Noted leaker FortTory claims Tilted Towers won't be long for this world. There will be two events, with earthquakes potentially leading to craters further down the line. FortTory says three craters are going to appear on the map, but their proximity to the outskirts of Tilted Towers could spell trouble for the fan-favourite locale.

One angry fan wrote, "Oh hell nah we just got it back," while another added, "epic is definitely gonna f**k with tilted to make everyone nervous, but they’re not gonna remove it this soon." Others loved the idea, as someone concluded, "Yeee destroy it and then make it Neo Tilted."

Is Tilted Towers Doomed?

Although Tilted is in a precarious situation right now, others guess Epic Games could be trolling us. Given Tilted's colourful past, the devs mightly simply be poking fun at the entire thing by tricking us into thinking Tilted Towers is doomed.

Someone else suggested that instead of bringing down Tilted, Epic will actually expand the POI and add an underground system via these craters. Loving this idea, someone concluded, "Sewer system would be a perfect setting to bring Ninja Turtles collab, BTW." Whatever is going on with Tilted Towers, it's clear the Fortnite earthquakes are leading to something much bigger.
