If you want to get sweaty in Fortnite, chances are Tilted Towers is your current drop point as you and the squad throw yourselves off the Battle Bus. With that, all the usual Fortnite problems are hitting the defrosted POI.

Tilted Towers was phased out in Chapter 2 after it was merged with Salty Springs to become Salty Towers. This then underwent changes of its own when the massive Primal update overhauled the fan-favourite locale to become Boney Burbs. Thankfully, as the map was flipped for Chapter 3 Season 1, a frozen version of Tilted Towers returned to its original place.

What's Going On With Tilted Towers?

If you've dropped into Tilted Towers since it returned to its former glory on Tuesday, you'll know it has been a bullet-riddled hellhole where many a player has bowed out early on. Crafty shooters have taken to landing on the outskirts and slipping inside when the initial action has died down, but either way, it's pretty busy down there now.

Alongside the crop of usual players landing at Tilted, there's been an increase in AI bots also filling the already packed POI. In response to this, Epic has released a patch that stops bots from landing. Well, that should alleviate some of the congestion. They aren't exactly hard to down, but when facing a bunch of bumbling bots and actual players, we could do without more obstacles getting in the way.

What Else Is New In Fortnite?

This mid-season refresh of the already packed Chapter 3 Season 1 has given Fornite another push forward. With the holiday spirit just a distant memory and the snow having thawed, Epic added the adorable Klombos to the map - if you can find them.

Klombos are dinosaur-liked creatures that stomp around and knock down structures. You're likely to hear them before you see them, but if you can tame them with Klomberries, they'll spit out rewards. Feeding Klomberries to a Klombo is one of the new Milestone Quests, so get hunting. Together with Tilted, it's already a beloved update.

In response to Tilted's bot balance, most agreed it was the right thing to do. One fan wrote, "The original tilted had no bots and half the lobby landed there every game," while another joked, "And now sweats won't have anything to be distracted with while normal people tries to explore the area or talk to NPCS." A third concluded, "How about remove bots in its entirety. The games end much sooner because of bots." At least it should be a little safer.
