Fortnite's new season, with its muddy antics and all, has been great fun so far with some interesting twists on its existing gameplay. But, is it just us, or is it a little buggier this time around?

Troubles with reboots and picking up items have been reported, and for a game as sleek and clean as Fortnite, it's not exactly a good look. The battle royale has a pretty solid track record of quashing bugs and glitches, but it seems more than usual have slipped through the cracks this time around.

Now, there's a particularly handy Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 XP glitch that is giving players an insane amount of XP to tear through levels of the Battle Pass.

A new XP glitch has appeared in-game in Fortnite that is giving players a leg up when it comes to grinding the Battle Pass. As you can probably guess, the glitch has come from a bizarre and convoluted method in a fan-made map.

It's a problem that simply keeps rearing its head, as Epic Games tries to incentivise fans to try out player-created levels and creators exploit that leeway in equal measure. A new map, titled Lava 1V1 Bulid Fights (we promise it's spelt that way), is where you can find the Fortnite XP glitch.

The exploit asks players to open it in a private match and follow an absurd amount of steps to generate passive XP. It's all so you can consistently crank their levels and bag some battle stars. There are maps like this peppered across the game, with tutorials rife on YouTube to help players earn more XP.

How can I do the Fortnite XP glitch myself?

Epic tries to tackle these exploits, but for every one taken down, a new one pops up. If you want to take on the Lava 1V1 map for yourself and bag some serious XP in the process, then you can do so easily by going to island code 4985-7724-5093.

If you need the step-by-step guide to use the map (and given how busy it is, you likely will), firstsportz has a full breakdown of the process. Make sure you use the map while it's still here because who knows how long it'll last before Epic Games pulls out the banhammer.
