Fall Guys Players Have Found A Nifty Shortcut On Slime Climb
It's time to "slime" your way to the crown as Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout players have found a handy new Slime Climb shortcut that has been hiding right in front of our faces this entire time. Since its introduction, Slime Climb has become a beloved (if a little frustrating) level. The problem here is that if you take a tumble, you don't simply respawn at a checkpoint like in See Saw, meaning one wrong move and you're rocketing right to the back of the pack.
Slime Climb is pretty narrow in its course, meaning it's a little too easy for all those beans to get caught in a bunch and effectively become a jumbling mass of pixels. Any ability to get ahead of the other players and put some space between you can be invaluable in Slime Climb, which has led to the latest hack for those who want to get the edge over the competition. While not technically a cheat, feel free to play the old fashioned way or try this one out.
Posting on YouTube, Maitrash shared his ridiculously fast run and proved you can speedrun the course in the blink of an eye. He's used every trick in the book and made the most of the ability to jump off those spongey triangles to catapult you forward. Elsewhere, Maitrash made a series of clever jumps to skip certain areas. The real trick came at the very end when he hopped on one of the hammers and made a clean dash to the final section.
It's pure Fall Guys perfection in terms of Slime Climb gameplay, but the question is, could he do it again? Even though we're undeniably impressed with his 44.61 time, Maitrash had an advantage by being placed at the front of the line anyway. This is where the all-important luck element of Fall Guys comes into play.
Only recently, Slime Climb was at the centre of the scandal when Mediatonic confirmed it was having to patch Slime Climb due to cheats. Some crafty players were using their grab ability to hold onto objects and stop themselves falling into the ooze. Just days after devs seemed to fix the level, this speedrun is grabbing headlines. Still, at least this isn't as bad as when some people were gripping the edge of platforms in Jump Showdown and cheating their way to the crown.
Mediatonic has previously said Slime Climb is 50% skill and 50% luck, with some claiming it's the battle royale game's hardest level. With all this taken into account, we're not sure Maitrash could make his record time again. Now that the gauntlet has been thrown down, let's see if anyone can beat that Usain Bolt-inspired time on Slime Climb.
