A sign from the outside world was received. Former professional Overwatch player for the Atlanta Reign and streamer extraordinaire Daniel "dafran" Francesca was spotted on an Instagram post by oktopen.dk, a Danish account dedicated to sustainable farming of vegetables.

The Instagram post came with a message attached, explaining the reason for dafran’s work with Økotopen.

It said: “Daniel in the picture has a big dream of growing organic vegetables and making a living from it - he has until now been known as @dafrandude professional gamer, but the vegetables and nature pull and call in him and as he said today 'it's just awesome to be able to go outside every day '- that was exactly what I said when I started out .. sometimes it's the simplest things in the world that make us gain perspective in life.”

His nature drive to succeed also didn’t go unnoticed on the farm, as the post continued to state: “Daniel will be an intern with me a few days a week, where my most important task will be to give him as much in the backpack as possible - he has a really good energy and drive and I am sure he will achieve his dream.”

Assistant coach of the Atlanta Reign Dillian “LegitRc” Odeneal responded to the surfacing of the picture, stating that he was happy for dafran, seeing how he appeared to be in good spirits.

Dafran had announced his retirement from his virtual career this June with a short Twitlonger stating that he would be starting “an education, that has to do with growing fruits, vegetables.” Throughout his career as a streaming personality and pro player, dafran had become a fan favourite, topping the Overwatch League jersey sales during his time in the league and becoming one of the biggest Overwatch streamers on Twitch.
