Let’s go, dude! Only two days after Daniel "dafran" Francesca had been spotted in the wild growing vegetable on a Danish farm, he has announced his return to Twitch. Dafran had taken a three-month hiatus from virtual life, explaining that he wanted to pursue an education in agriculture.

With his return, dafran appears to be marrying the best parts of both worlds, stating that he will be beginning his return streaming "farming simulator". While there is indeed such a game created by developer Giants Software, it is likely that he's referring to an IRL stream showing himself to do the hard work in real life.

In June he had announced his retirement from streaming, citing a desired lifestyle change.

He said: "The biggest 2 reasons of why I am doing this: 1. We only have 1 life to live, do what makes you happy 2. I have already spent 1/3 of my life in front of the computer."

It stands to reason that dafran reacted to an outpouring of love on social media regarding his picture at the farm. Whether or not regular streams will be returning of if this is a one-off event is currently not known.

Dafran had made his name in Overwatch, becoming one of the biggest streamers in the game while also enjoying competitive success. Playing in season 2 of the Overwatch League, dafran had amassed an incredible following, catapulting him to the top of jersey sales in the franchised league. After quitting Overwatch, he had tried his hand on Riot Games' FPS VALORANT and also found competitive success there, though departed from the scene soon after with the aforementioned break.
