Warzone 2 has been doing well, which naturally means that fans are starting to hate it. It may be a little unfair of us, but it seems to be true that when things start going too well in gaming, people decide that the thing they love is crap.

It happened to Fortnite, it happened to Among Us, and it's happening to Warzone. Though there is plenty to criticise in the battle royale shooter, not much has changed with its formula. Numbers are down, but now, someone has pitched an idea that could bring the game back from that brink.

Warzone players want a Zombies and DMZ crossover

One of Warzone's leading leakers has made a bold suggestion as to what could make for the very best game mode of all time. More than just a hateful post for close, other players have been incredibly quick to agree.

Leaker TheGhostofHope, has claimed that a combination of two existing Call of Duty game modes would come together to make something incredibly exciting that the series has never seen before. We've got to admit, a DMZ and Zombies crossover sounds pretty epic.

"These two modes combined into one would go so freaking hard," they say, sharing images from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Zombies mode and Warzone 2.0's DMZ mode. Although the OP has offered little in the way of details, fans have rallied in the comments to agree.

Fans invent Zombies DMZ for Warzone 2.0

Users in the tweet's replies have come together to share their ideas for what could make the mode so great, with one user even having an in-depth idea earlier than the tweet's appearance. TheGhostofHope isn't alone in seeing the potential of DMZ x Zombies.

One cheered, "Personally, I would love to see it, as I enjoyed Outbreak. Would love to see it expanded upon and maybe even use whatever the WZ map is, since that's what the CW Outbreak maps were supposed to be."

Another added, "Surely since everything is being shared now, Treyarch can just copy DMZ and make that into a zombies mode," while a third concluded, "Bro just made the greatest zombies mode of all time."

It looks as though fans have done all of the heavy lifting in terms of invention - now we just need Infinity Ward to pick up where fans have left off. Come on devs, get to work.
