It seems that wherever Call of Duty goes, bugs and glitches are soon to follow. It's natural for any game series to at least be lacking a little polish, but as each new title offers less variation, it's the little things that end up grating on the player. Sadly, those little things are still rife in mainline and side titles
The beloved Warzone battle royale seems subject to these bugs most often, with such a huge area of effect to look after and manage - and once again, a bug is tearing the game's Gulag to pieces.

For perhaps the hundredth time since the game first launched, it looks as though Warzone's Gulag isn't running as the second chance saloon it's supposed to be.
A new bug has been highlighted in the CODWarzone subreddit, with one player waiting to start their scrap in the Gulag - only for a rival to scoot around the corner while the timer is still counting down, giving them no time to react.
As of right now, it's unclear as of right now if this player was allowed to move around during their timer or if their timer was started early, allowing them access to the Gulag ahead of time - but either way, it isn't a good look. Especially when players in the comments are claiming that this isn't exactly new.
The early-access Gulag glitch has been around for a while
Fans in the comments have been quick to point out that this glitch has frustratingly been around for some time, but the devs have struggled to prioritise it as it's so rare. One angry gamer grumbled, "Sadly if it happened to big streamers it’ll likely get fixed in a day but if it just happens to us peasants these devs don’t care."
Given the fact Warzoine is one of the biggest video games out there, it's a shame that a glitch like this is still present. Following issues with MW3, Call of Duty needs to be much tidier than ever right now. Watch your backs in the Gulag because you're going to need your wits about you.
