A LinkedIn page from a former Lost Boys Interactive employee has been found which mentions two games that Borderlands fans have been hoping for.

The games have not yet been announced, however given the success of the franchise they are not entirely unexpected releases.

A former employee who worked on some Gearbox titles has mentioned two unannounced games on his LinkedIn profile.
According to LinkedIn, Randel Reiss worked at Lost Boys Interactive as a Studio Technical Director for three months in 2022.

During this time, Reiss worked on Borderlands 4, Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, Brothers in Arms, WWE2K23, Amazon’s New World, Elder Scroll Online, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands 2 and Zombie Sim.

Lost Boys Interactive are known for working with Gearbox as a support studio, and worked with them on the first Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands game, as well as other Take-Two titles.

The success of the Borderlands franchise means that these titles are not unexpected

Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford has previously commented on how there would be more content coming from the Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands universe after the game exceeded the developers expectations.

In 2022, he said: “Wonderlands shattered all of our target expectations, both critically and commercially, and I’m thrilled to report that in addition to great financial rewards from this victory that will be coming our way in the coming quarters, we have established a firm beachhead.
“We now clearly have a new franchise on our hands, with future experiences already under development at Gearbox.”
While Pitchford has not specified whether or not this means a full game is on the way or if he is simply referring to DLC, the indication that the game has spawned a new franchise suggests that it could be an entirely new title.

Similarly, it is not unexpected for Borderlands to get another instalment in the franchise given its popularity.

The LinkedIn page does not indicate what stage of development either game was in at the time Reiss worked for Lost Boys Interactive.
