When you think of iconic Apex Legends weapons, the Kraber, R99, Flatline, and R301 Carbine all come to mind.

Despite this, there's one gun that stands above the rest and that's the lethal Wingman. Nothing feels better than hitting multiple Wingman shots in a row, especially if you can land those devastatingly strong headshots.

Of course, that's easier said than done, with the sniper ammo pistol taking an immense amount of skill to use effectively. Even so, it's a deadly weapon in the right hands and it's about to get even better.

For Season 19, the Wingman will be heading into the Care Package which means it's going to be scarier than ever.

Yeah, you heard that right, the Wingman is heading into the Care Package in Ignite and it's getting some significant buffs as well.

In a recent preview I attended, Game Designer John Larson has described the Season 19 Wingman as "spicy," with the devs increasing its already potent damage.

If that wasn't enough, the CP Wingman has a "modified Skullpiercer Elite" hop-up, which presumably makes headshots hit harder than ever before.

It's worth noting that in Season 19, Care Packages are being changed to always contain a weapon, no matter when they land in the match. So, if you want to test out a Wingman, go Care Package hunting!

Which gun is being removed from Care Package in Season 19?

The Wingman is replacing the L-STAR in the Care Package, so the energy-based LMG will be on the ground in Season 19.

While the L-STAR won't be as strong as its current CP form, it will be better than the previous iteration of it on the ground.

It's safe to say Care Packages have just got a lot more exciting, and with them guaranteeing a weapon, it may be worth skirmishing over them more on the map.
