Suns out, buns out may be the motto for the summer in Apex Legends, as the skin lines are heating up.

Apex's fan base always gets a little bit giddy when summer rolls around, as the usual themed Legend outfits come to play. Similar to Christmas when Gibby gets suited and booted into the red man's outfit, summer brings out the beach-side outfits, and this time, the kit is coming off.

Previous summer outfits have seen Fuse whip out a Hawaiian flowery shirt and Octane sport a rubber inflatable, but this time, Apex Legends has now promised a swimsuit line.

Apex Legends promise swimsuit skins

Having teased fans with a swimwear skin line in the past, Apex Legends gave fans the opportunity to earn their most sought-after designs, by heading to social media and liking their tweet.

The tweet challenged Apex Legends fans to hit 10,000 likes, which, given their thirst for some cheek, was obliterated within ten minutes.

Apex then confirmed the swimsuit skin will be added, as the post now has north of 88,000 likes. Bonk to you all!

Which Legends are getting swimsuit skins?

I know what you're thinking, and if it rhymes with MOBA then you need to get your mind out of the gutter. But, it shouldn't be ruled out...

When it comes to these types of skin lines, Respawn often likes to offer a range of male, female, and non-binary characters the opportunity to sport the latest range, meaning there's a good possibility that at least one of your favourite characters could be getting a sun-tan this time around.

So far, Respawn hasn't confirmed who will be in the range, but an announcement is set for later today.

Personally, a swimwear collection for Pathfinder and Revenant would be the perfect troll, and we all know that Mirage will be in there somewhere...
