Since its conception, Apex Legends has always been about learning abilities, timing them to perfection, and cohesively using them alongside teammates to get kills or the perfect position for the end game.

But what if all of the Legends forgot their abilities? What if each Legend has the same kit? What would happen if players just dropped in as a solo and let their gun skills do the talking?

That's apparently what's on the way for Apex Legends, and even though there will be no Pathfinder Ziplines and Bloodhound scans, this brutal all-out war sounds like carnage.

Apex Legends' carnage Rumble LTM is 'real' according to leakers

The Rumble LTM was leaked a few weeks ago, but now, it will reportedly pit players in a solo lobby where Legends' abilities have been disabled in favour of a universal collection of new skills.

With Respawn being rather ambiguous on the matter, it now seems that the most reputable leakers are willing to bet their reputation that Rumble is coming to Apex Legends. Backing this up, the notorious "Thordan Smash" has now claimed it's "real."

The leaker previously claimed that a Revenant-themed event would also be happening soon, where the robotic legend will be given Titanfall-like abilities.

How will the Apex Legends Rumble LTM work?

Previous leaks suggest that Rumble is just mayhem. It's all-out carnage where third parties become thirtieth parties, while Abilities and Loadouts are scrapped.

If that wasn't enough, players will have randomised ground loot with fully-equipped weapon presets that change each game. Finally, there is no consistency in how aspects like the storm circle, wildlife, and consumables will act.

Players will also have five new abilities:

  • Stim: Increases speed and health regeneration, but also increases damage taken and temporarily blurs your vision.
  • Cloak: Makes players invisible for a time, but suppresses enemy footsteps and gunfire.
  • EMP: Disables enemy electronics and shields, but damages and "scans" the player who detonates it.
  • Berserk: Increases melee damage and knockback distance, but decreases weapon accuracy and range.
  • Swap: Allows players to swap their location and loadout with an enemy, but at the expense of their knowledge and the threat of it being reversed.

It's not yet known when this game mode will come out, but with Season 17 on the horizon and a Revenant theme planned to come soon, it might just be around the corner.
