Apex Legends players think one "super underrated" character is secretly OP in Season 20 and deserves far more attention in the meta.

In Apex Legends Season 20, the usual suspects are sitting at the top of the popularity charts and dominating the pick rates. These are Octane, Wraith, Pathfinder, Bangalore and, of course, Bloodhound - all of which are brilliant choices following the Legend Upgrade system.
Not everyone wants to follow the beaten path, and experimenting with underused characters can be extremely fun. Occasionally, you may even stumble upon a pick that's going under the radar.
Well, some of the Apex community are on the hunt for these hidden gem Legends and have been discussing who is the most underrated in Season 20.
Vantage heralded as Apex Legends' most "underrated" character
In a thread posted to the Apex Legends subreddit, user TinyDoughnut2526 decided to ask the community, "Who's the most underrated Legend of Season 20 and why?"
While countless names on the roster got a shoutout, Vantage got by far the most shoutouts for being heavily underrated. The Sniper Savant has access to solid mobility, excellent damage from afar and, best of all, she can scan recon and control beacons.
"Vantage is kinda crazy, idk if this is common knowledge, scanning recon and control beacons gives all the info you need to play efficiently," said one user, with another arguing, "I've been absolutely destroying lobbies with Vantage.
"In addition to the easy evo points providing a huge advantage in fights for your whole team, Vantage's tactical is fantastic as a quick escape too." Vantage currently has an unbelievably low pick rate of just 1.6%, so it's safe to say she's going under the radar in Season 20.
Rampart celebrated for being incredibly "strong" in Season 20
Another candidate for the most underused Legend award is Rampart, a character who has never really gained a foothold in the meta but has always had a small but dedicated group of mains.
However, with the changes that came with Legend Upgrades, including faster reloads behind her shields, players are convinced she's immensely strong.
"I think Rampart is super underrated... I've won games off of reinforcing a subpar area with shields, the cover fire Sheila can offer or the fast shield reloads," said one user, with another claiming, "Rampart her perks make her very manoeuvrable and strong."
Similar to Vantage, Rampart sits at just 1.7% in Breakout, so if you fancy a change from your typical rotation of Legends, she could be a diamond in the rough worth trying.
