New Apex Legends Weapon Revealed: Bocek Bow - Full Weapon Details
Apex Legends: Legacy, the ninth season of Respawn Entertainment's battle royale is due to land on May 4, and with it comes a brand new weapon - the Bocek Bow.
Joining the Apex Games as the first of its weapon class, the Bocek Bow looks to be a difficult weapon to handle, but one that will deliver punishing blows if used correctly.
A powerful and deadly weapon, for those with the skill to wield it. Capable of inflicting tremendous damage at medium range, you’ll need to make each shot count.
Precise players (who are fans of Sniper Rifles) will probably gravitate towards the new Bocek Bow in Apex Legends, and may be wondering - have we seen this before?
Is The Bocek Bow The Compound Bow?
Way back in Season 6, the Compound Bow was leaked, but never became a reality - until now.
Dataminers found the new ammo type for the Bow, a pink/purple colour, and several images by Respawn themselves teased the Bow. Sneaky.
Apex Legends dataminer and leaker Shrugtal has revealed new information about the Bocek Bow, including its "Marksman" class, "Arrow" ammo, and hop-ups.

The aforementioned artwork teasing the Bow (which we now know was the Bocek Bow), posted by Respawn artists in August 2020, lead eagle-eyed Shrugtal to quickly point out something familiar yet strange on the floor of the Map Room POI in Kings Canyon.
Apex Legends Marksman Class
The Bocek Bow (pronounced "Boe-Sek") will enter Apex Legends as part of a new weapon class - Marksman. Other weapons now reclassified into this category are as follows:
- G7 Scout
- Triple Take
- 30-30 Repeater
Apex Legends Bocek Bow Hop-Ups
The Bocek Bow is bringing two new friends to the party in the form of two new hop-ups.
- Deadeye’s Tempo (Bocek Bow & Sentinel) Increased fire rate
- Shatter Caps (Bocek Bow & 30-30 Repeater) Splits a single bullet or arrow into a shotgun pattern
The above was our first real peek at the new Bow, and while no information on things like damage numbers or usability have been released (or even leaked), we'll be seeing a lot more of the ranged weapon when Apex Legends: Legacy releases on May 4.
