With the recent premiere of The Last of Us television series, Sony is capitalizing on the hype by offering a free trial for The Last of Us Part 1. Follow the steps outlined below to try the game for free.

How to try The Last of Us Part 1

Retailing at £69.99, it's natural to want to try the game out before buying it. Unfortunately, this wasn't always possible. However, to celebrate the brand-new The Last of Us television series, Sony has gone ahead and introduced a two-hour free trial to hook in potential buyers.

Though, there are some conditions. The Last of Us Part 1 free trial is exclusive to PlayStation 5 owners with a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription.

How to download the free trial

If you're eligible to download The Last of Us Part 1 free trial, you can get it straight from the PlayStation Store. Seek out The Last of Us Part 1 in the PlayStation Store on your PS5, and instead of purchasing the title, select the "Game Trial" option. Now, download it!

You will have two hours to decide if The Last of Us Part 1 is something you want to invest in. If you do decide to purchase the title that inspired The Last of Us television series, you can continue right where you left off without starting over from the beginning.
