After the recent announcement that the Overwatch 2 beta is coming soon, many people will be wondering how to sign up and get in on the hero shooter action. The original Overwatch came out way back in 2016, and fans have been excited about the sequel since it was first teased in 2019. So, if you want to know how to register for the Overwatch 2 beta, we've got you covered.

How To Register For The Overwatch 2 Beta

To sign up for the Overwatch 2 beta, you can check out the link here, although Blizzard have said this will open up on June 16, 2022.

The Overwatch 2 beta is set to feature new previously unseen heroes, maps, and gamemodes, so there should be plenty of new content for fans. We can also assume there will be old fan-favourite characters in the roster to provide a point of entry.

Overwatch 2 Beta Dates

The first Overwatch 2 beta started on April 26, 2022. Thankfully, Blizzard has announced a second beta, beginning June 28, 2022. This was confirmed via Overwatch's social channels. This beta period will be for the game's PvP modes, and as opposed to the original beta - includes the new hero, Junker Queen, map, as well as playable on consoles. Players are now being asked to put their name forward for a place.

It will be interesting to see what changes are made to this PvP beta with many pros and selected members of the community revealing many changes to the game's heros.

That's all for our guide on how to register for the Overwatch 2 beta, but keep your eyes peeled on GGRecon as we learn more about the sequel to the popular hero shooter.
