Ursaluna is one such Pokemon, who evolves from Ursaring, and while you'll gain access to Ursaluna to ride on, you can't use it in battle until you catch one properly. Here is what you need to know on how to evolve Ursaring in Pokemon Legends Arceus into Ursaluna.

Your first task is to get yourself an Ursaring. One of the best ways to go about this is to head to Ursa's Ring in the Crimson Mirelands. Here you can catch your fill of Teddiursa, or there's a fearsome alpha Ursaring to contend with. Either catch a Teddiursa and raise it yourself, or catch the alpha Ursaring to jump ahead. Teddiursa in this area are around level 25, and will evolve into Ursaring at level 30.

In order to evolve Ursaring in Pokemon Legends Arceus into Ursaluna, you will need to get a Peat Block. The Peat Block is a new evolutionary item in Pokemon Legends Arceus, specifically for getting Ursaluna. They are pretty rare and difficult to get your hands on, here is what you'll need to do to get one.

The primary source of Peat Blocks is digging them up with your rideable Ursaluna. There are several reported spots where Peat Blocks have been found. To search for one yourself, start either with the Scarlet Bog in Crimson Mirelands or Ginkgo Landing in the Cobalt Coastlands.

Luckily, there is a guaranteed way to get yourself a Peat Block. After you have defeated the noble Avalugg in the Alabaster Icelands, head back to Galaxy Hall to pick up a request. The latest in the Wanda saga, complete Gone Astray... In The Icelands, rewards you with a Star Piece and a Peat Block.

Once you have your Ursaring in your party and a Peat Block in your pack, you are almost ready to evolve it into Ursaluna. There is just one last hoop to jump through. Many Pokemon require it to be either day or night time to evolve. For Ursaluna, it has to be nighttime, and there has to be a full moon in the sky.

To achieve this, your best bet is to head to a camp with a good view of the sky. For this, we recommend the Heights Camp in Obsidian Fieldlands. Whichever camp you decide on, head to the tent and wait until nightfall. The moon will not be immediately visible, so wait a minute or so for it to rise. If you can, familiarise yourself with where the moon rises to help you notice it sooner.

If the moon isn't full, head back to the tent and wait until nightfall again. Rinse and repeat until the moon is full. When you have a full moon, go to your menu and use the Peat Block on Ursaring and it will evolve into Ursaluna.

That's everything you need to know to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna. We have plenty more guides for you, including a guide on how to start the request line you need to get the Peat Block. For that, check out our Pokemon Legends Arceus Gone Astray In The Mirelands guide!
