Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 was released just a few days ago, and as many prepare to jump into the island with an array of new changes, a new quest line has been delivered to mark the occasion. The new season of Fortnite has been dubbed Paradise and aims to push players forward in an exciting set of missions across the map. However, it’s not exactly clear how to begin this adventure, and is understandably leaving a few players scratching their heads. Luckily, the solution for doing so is pretty simple!

The first time you take a look in your quest log in the latest season of Fortnite, you’ll see a new section known as Paradise. This is where you will find all of this season’s exclusive quests, which will net you some huge XP in return for completing them.

As you’ll see, the first quest tasks players to “prepare for Jones’ call”, which is particularly vague and doesn’t directly give an indication as to what players should actually do.

There are a few trains of thought in the community as to what needs to be done. Some have suggested you need to thank the bus driver across a few matches, but we found it simply happens randomly after a few matches. Enjoy a few rounds of Fortnite and you should complete the mission in a couple of sessions.

You’ll know the quest has been completed once you receive a call from Jones at the beginning of a Fortnite match. Once you have received communication, the next quest will task players to reboot a computer at Seven Outpost II, V, or Synapse Station. After this has been completed, you’ll have made progress into the Paradise quest line.

The next roadblock you’ll most likely hit is being tasked to “await further orders” and wondering how to in Fortnite. Thankfully, this is also a pretty simple solution that appears more confusing than it actually is.
