A new Resistance Quest has players wondering how to transmit data to the drone in Fortnite. The Resistance is waging a Fortnite war against the Imagined Order, and each week we must complete tasks to help them in their efforts. Fortnite Transmit Data To The Drone: How To Get The Quest

The "transmit data to the drone" Week 4 Resistance quest will show up in your Quest Log after completing the "Fortnite Establish Uplink near a Seven Outpost" quest. You will receive this quest immediately after you establish a Device Uplink at one of the Seven Outposts on the island.

How To Transmit Data to the Drone In Fortnite

In total, there are six different drones spread out across the six Seven Outposts. Transmit the data to one of these drones to satisfy the Week 4 Resistance quest. 

Once you locate a drone, transmitting the data is pretty simple. Approach the drone and interact with it to transfer the data.

Since the Resistance Quest right before this has us establishing a Device Uplink at a Seven Outpost, we don't have to go very far to transmit the data to the drone. Figure out what Seven Outpost you established the Device Uplink at and then find the drone at that same Seven Outpost and transfer the data. It's easiest to do these two Resistance Quests back-to-back in the same match.

Seven Outpost I is south-west of Greasy Grove. The drone is located behind the primary building next to some pallets.

Fortnite Transmit Data To The Drone: Seven Outpost II Drone Location

Seven Outpost II is up in the mountains north-west of Logjam Lumberyard. You'll find the drone in the grass on the east side of the outpost building.

Fortnite Transmit Data To The Drone: Seven Outpost III Drone Location

Seven Outpost III is north-east of The Daily Bugle and directly east of The Temple. There are a few different buildings at this Seven Outpost, but the drone is hiding just outside of the oval-shaped building that contains one of the Fortnite vault locations within it.

Seven Outpost IV is out in the Desert Biome south of Condo Canyon and west of Chonker's Speedway. The drone here sits outside of the outer walls on the west side of the Landmark.

Seven Outpost V lies west of Command Cavern and north-west of Camp Cuddle. You can spot the drone behind the oval-shaped building with a glass roof.

Fortnite Transmit Data To The Drone: Seven Outpost VII Drone Location

Seven Outpost VII is located on the crescent-shaped island in the gulf east of Sanctuary and north-east of The Joneses. The drone is actually sitting atop the lone outpost building.

While you have plenty of options to choose from, you only need to transmit the data to one of the drones to complete this challenge. Success in this quest will net you 23k XP toward your Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Battle Pass.
