Contrary to the past few weeks, we have quite the stacked TOTW squad potentially on our hands here. The show stealer is bound to be Erling Haaland with a Record Breaker card - although the release of the Premier League TOTS could throw a spanner in the works for this.
This could mean that EA waits for the Norweigan to surpass Andy Cole and Alan Shearer's 34-goal record which he equalled at the weekend, as opposed to the 32-goal record from Mohamed Salah that he smashed with his last-minute goal against Arsenal in mid-week.

Click to enlargeThe FIFA 23 TOTW 27 start date and time is scheduled for Wednesday May 3, at 6PM BST/10AM PT. Once the new cards make their way into packs, all of the old TOTW cards, alongside the standard versions of any players included this week will be removed.
As mentioned, the release of the Premier League TOTS could cause some complications with the release of this TOTW, as there could be a clash potentially on the table. A similar situation already happened earlier in this FIFA cycle with Haaland again, so we could see his Record Breaker card only available from Wedesday evening to Friday evening when the promo starts.
