You might be wondering what the FIFA 23 RTTF upgrade path actually is though, as it is quite a bit different from previous years. Instead of a flat upgrade after every round, players are now given different boosts which might make them far more valuable otherwise.

Here is the FIFA 23 RTTF upgrade path:

  • Win First Game Post Promo Release: OVR Upgrade
  • Win Round of 16 Tie: OVR Upgrade
  • Win Quarter Finals Tie: OVR Upgrade + New Traits
  • Win Semi Finals Tie: Five Star Weak Foot Upgrade
  • Win Final: OVR Upgrade + Five Star Skill Moves Upgrade

This upgrade path is exactly the same across all three card types so you won't need to worry about keeping up with anything else. Furthermore, the respective promo player does not need to play in the real life matches in order to gain an upgrade.

The FIFA 23 RTTF cards will not receive their upgrades until the entire game week has been completed, meaning that it could be nearly a fortnight after a game until you receive the correct upgrade on your cards.

Here are the dates that the FIFA 23 RTTF cards will be upgraded on:

  • February 24
  • March 17
  • April 21
  • May 19
  • June 12

While June might seem like quite a while away, if the right player makes it all the way to glory in the final then you could have yourself a really special card.

So, that completes this FIFA 23 RTTF tracker, giving you all of the details you'll need to stay on top of the various upgrades. Make sure to check out this FIFA 23 cheapest 86 rated players list if there are any SBCs you need to complete.
