In Elden Ring, Hyetta, like Irina, is a blind woman the player will encounter early in their adventures in the Lands Between. The many side quests of Elden Ring ask players to find important characters and often solve mysteries. There is much lore and often rewards behind completing these quests, so they are important to keep on top of. For all the details on how to complete Hyetta’s quest, here is Elden Ring Hyetta: How To Complete Hyetta’s Quest.

  • Hyetta can be encountered just after defeating Godrick. For tips on getting there, check out Elden Ring Godrick Boss Fight: How To Defeat Godrick, The Grafted.

Most likely, the first time you meet Hyetta will be shortly after defeating Godrick. At the far end of Godrick’s boss arena is the keep, and in there is an exit to the back of Stormveil Castle. In the room before you exit, you will find a Shabriri Grape. Take it and bring it with you. As you leave and head toward Liurnia you will see Hyetta leaning against a wall beside the Lake-Facing Cliffs site of grace.

Hyetta is on her way to becoming a Finger Maiden, but she is blind. She tells you that eating these Shabriri Grapes helps her sense the light, and find her way. She asks that you bring her one should you find one, and of course you have. Give her the grape and she will be on her way.

Entering Liurnia, you have three options. You can take the western highland, cross the lake in the centre of the region, or take the road on the eastern edge. To find Hyetta a second time, take the eastern road. Drop down from the cliff and follow the road north. A little ways up the road on the left you will find the Purified Ruins. This place is occupied by soldiers, clear them out and grab any items you find here. You should find another Shabriri Grape in the cellar.

From here, check to the northwest. A little further down the hill is another ruined building. You will find Hyetta beside this building. Again, she needs a grape to find her way forward. Give her the grape you just found and she will continue her journey north.

  • To complete this step of Hyetta's quest, you need to complete Irina's quest first. For details on how, check out Elden Ring Castle Morne: How To Complete Irina and Edgar's Quest.

To complete this step, you need to first complete the Castle Morne side quest. For more on that, click the link above. To find Hyetta again, continue to head north along the Liurnia Highway. You will encounter a force of soldiers fighting against spirits, make your way past them and continue along the road. The road ends where the bridge starts, as the ancient bridge has collapsed. Just to the right of the road at the edge of the cliff you will find Hyetta.

Again, she needs a grape, but the grape is not nearby this time. For this one, you need to head to the western edge of Liurnia. Directly west of where Hyetta is, there is a Minor Erdtree. Just north of there is the Revenger’s Shack. This is why you need to complete Castle Morne first, because now when you come here you will be invaded by Edgar the Revenger. Defeat him, and he will drop a Shabriri Grape.

Bring the grape back to Hyetta and give it to her. She will eat it, then ask you what the grape actually is. Answer her, to complete this section.

  • While you're visiting these churches you will find a couple of Sacred Tears. To find the rest of them, check out Elden Ring Sacred Tears: All Sacred Tears Locations.

Elden Ring Hyetta: Fourth Meeting - Bellum Church

Our next port of call is Bellum Church. This place is in northern Liurnia, on the plateau at the end of the bridge coming from Raya Lucaria. Follow the road toward the Grand Lift of Dectus, but turn left off the road just before the battlements. Among the trees here you will find the Bellum Church, and Hyetta within it.

This time, Hyetta has gone off Shabriri Grapes for good reasons. Instead, she needs a Fingerprint Grape, which is almost definitely not a good thing. You can get the Fingerprint Grape at the Church of Inhibition. More specifically, you can get it from Festering Fingerprint Vyke, who will invade you when you get there.

The church is at the top of the cliff above the road you were just on. To reach it, head toward the Grand Lift of Dectus and go right around the corner. Go up the hill, and prepare for chaos. You are about to pass by Frenzied Flame Tower, which causes madness just by being near it. Go through the Frenzied Flame Village and up the hill. Defeat Vyke, get the grape and return to Hyetta.

  • If you're looking to do some outrageous damage in Elden Ring, there are few better options than the Comet Azur spell. To get your hands on it, check out Elden Ring Comet Azur: Where To Get The Comet Azur Spell.

For this step, you must head to the sewers below Leyndell. This place is vast and confusing, and is beyond difficult to map out or explain. Explore the sewers and you will come across Mohg, the Omen, in an underground church. Defeating Mohg is a necessary step to complete this questline.

Once Mohg is dealt with, hit the altar at the back of the room and it will move. Head through this passageway and drop down, from beam to beam, to the bottom of the room. The ground below needs to be broken and can be done so by dropping from high up. This is likely to kill you, so do this and then come back down. At the bottom, you will find Hyetta waiting.

She tells you that she plans to be a Maiden of Chaos, and sees that you are on your way to becoming a Lord. This is the point of no return, as progressing any further will lock you into a particular ending. To proceed, take off all of your clothes and go to the door ahead. A cutscene will play, and afterwards you can speak to Hyetta. From here, Hyetta will be your maiden, and you will be on your way to becoming the Lord of Chaos.

There you have it, Hyetta’s quest with as few spoilers as we could manage. This quest is a big part of the game, and radically changes how it ends. For another Elden Ring questline that is important to the story, check out Elden Ring Blaidd: Where To Find Blaidd and How To Complete His Quest.
